Dr. Tack is an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in surgery of the cervical and lumbar spine. He has extensive experience with minimally invasive and motion preservation surgery in the cervical and lumbar spine, as well as advanced reconstructive procedures of the adult spine. Dr. Tack is an active member of the North American Spine Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Tack focuses his practice on surgical management of disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine in adults. He has specific interest in cervical disk replacement with unique expertise in application of cervical disk replacement in patients have been previously treated with cervical fusion. As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Tack applies his expertise in evaluation of the entire musculoskeletal system to his patients with spinal disorders. This provides his patients with accurate diagnoses which allow for specific treatment recommendations. This is particularly beneficial to patient’s who present with shoulder/arm pain, and hip/leg pain who commonly receive inaccurate diagnosis. Dr. Tack’s orthopedic training allows him to easily distinguish shoulder, hip, and peripheral nerve problems from spinal disorders as well as provide detailed and accurate spinal diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
